Photos from Memorial Run – Thurs 12th June

“Thank you all for coming to the memorial run. We wanted an inclusive run and to remember people but also to have a good time.
 
It was so great to have established and newer members from Hart and Fleet and Crookham. Walk, run or come to the pub – it’s all good. We’ve got a great club!”, Dom.

Location: Monachus Car Park, Hartley Wintney

We will be joined by members of Fleet & Crookham AC for this 10.5 km memorial loop around Hazeley Heath, Hartley Wintney.

You can view the route below on Strava.  Or click here to download the GPX file. (You have to be logged in to download!).  Since this is a new route, it would be great if you could download – particularly if you have a watch that shows the route. 

The route is reasonably hilly, and will go past the pond that used to provide water to Hartley Wintney. Now surrounded by trees and covered in lilies, it’s a bit of hidden local history.

After the run, you’re warmly invited to gather afterwards at The Cricketers pub (see Google Map below) for a chance to reflect, share memories, and socialise with fellow runners .

This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a club community and honour the legacy of those who’ve been part of our running journey.

Donations to our club charities will be welcome on the night.
