Have you tried Urban Orienteering before? If not, Thursday 17th July is your chance to try it out!
Led by Bob Leppard, this will be an informal event where you can run as an individual or in groups where you use your powers of navigation to locate Control Points (mainly lampposts) from a map.
The Controls will have stickers on them so that you know that you have found the correct one.
You can record which Controls you visit and your time if you want to compete against others, or just have fun finding some of them. You might want to bring a pen or pencil to record the codes and check off which controls you have visited.
A compass might be useful but not essential. We will set off from the Key Centre on Elvetham Heath and finish at the De Havilland Arms pub.
