Odiham Social Run
Come and join us for the next in our popular series of summer Thursday social runs…
This Thursday at 7pm we’ll be exploring the trails around Odiham.
We’ll be starting from The Mill House pub, and following a roughly 10km loop across trails, fields, and the occasional short piece of tarmac.
We’re in the good hands of Andy Le Roux who will lead us around the route, including taking in ancient Odiham Castle. (Download GPX file)

Odiham Castle, also known as King John’s Castle, is a 13th-century ruin in Hampshire, England, built by King John around 1207 as a strategic fortress near the River Whitewater.

Inclusive & Social!
Remember that the whole point of the Thursday runs is to be social, inclusive, and run as one big group. This isn’t designed to be a speed-work session or one to race off on your own. Obviously we will have faster runners, and they are free to run off the front of the main group, but please stop at turnings/path junctions, or alternatively loop-back to ‘gather’ the slower runners (and get in a bit of extra training distance!).
Every so often we’ll all stop and take a few photographs and catch our breaths whilst taking in the views.
There will also a walking group setting off on an approximately 5km route.

The Mill House Pub
Come and join us afterwards at the Mill House pub for post-run refreshments. Most of us usually stay for an hour or three… it would be rude not to sample the local ales and wines!
If you’re coming straight to the pub, aim for about 8:15pm.

Strava Routes
We’re just polishing the route, and will be uploading a Strava map shortly so you can see exactly where we plan to go.
