The Club was recently approached by the Basingstoke Canal Society and asked to write an article for their bulletin. A big thank you to Charlie Boffin for writing the article and thank you to John Leonard for providing the photos. It’s great to see the Club promoted in the Bulletin. Just joining is enough for the Canal Society to demonstrate, to the powers that be, just how important a resource the Canal is to the local community and helps them obtain important and hard to get funding to maintain the canal, which we certainly benefit from as a club.
