Our next Thursday Social Run takes place on 5th June and takes in the surroundings of Southwood Country Park.
Nick Silvester will be our expert guide for this run! And as usual, we will be running as one large group, but with the faster runners going off ahead and looping back to the main group.
We will also have a shorter option for a second group of runners, plus a walking group too. So all paces are catered for. Nobody will get left behind 🙂
Start: 7pm. Note there are a few different car-parks in Southwood Country Park, so please make sure you get the right one. The one we’re meeting at is on Kennels Lane – but note there are two Kennel’s lanes close to each other. The car-park is on the cul-de-sac Kennel’s Lane, off a mini-roundabout off Ively Road.
Best thing to do is use the Google Map below which shows you the precise location.
Route: We have a couple of routes, one 5 miles, and the other 6 miler. See the Strava routes below. This will be on trails.
Pub: Drinks afterwards will be at the Heron on the Lake. If you want to meet us there, then aim for around 8:15pm. The address is 14 Old Cove Road, GU51 2RY.
