Hart Road Runners will be taking over Edenbrook parkrun on Saturday 17 October, and we need plenty of members to help make the morning a success.
The event starts at 9am, with HRR volunteers filling a range of roles across the course and finish area. It is a great opportunity to support the local running community, represent the club and show visitors what Hart Road Runners is all about.
Volunteers needed
There are plenty of ways to get involved, including:
- Pace runners to set a consistent pace and encourage participants
- Marshals to guide runners, cheer them on and help keep everyone safe
- Finish tokens and barcode scanning to keep the results process running smoothly
- Hospitality and general support to welcome participants and create a friendly atmosphere
- Other behind-the-scenes roles needed to complete the volunteer roster
You do not need previous parkrun volunteering experience. The roles are straightforward, and guidance will be provided on the day.
Let’s make it an HRR morning to remember
Whether you are pacing, cheering, marshalling or helping at the finish, every volunteer will contribute to the occasion. The more HRR members who take part, the stronger the atmosphere will be.
Please wear your HRR club kit where possible so that we can create a strong club presence and make the takeover easy to recognise.
