Put the date in your diary! On Sunday 20th September, Hart Road Runners will be swapping running shoes for litter pickers for an HRR Basingstoke Canal Clean-Up Morning.
The Basingstoke Canal and its surrounding paths are a fantastic local resource — and somewhere many of us regularly run, walk and enjoy. This is our chance to get together as a club and give something back, helping to keep the canal-side clean, safe and looking its best.
We’ll be spending the morning working together along the canal, clearing litter and helping tidy the local area. As ever with HRR, the social side is just as important as the work, so it should be a great opportunity to catch up with fellow club members while doing something genuinely worthwhile.
And once the hard work is finished, there will be a reward…
BBQ & drinks afterwards!
We’ll be rounding off the morning with a BBQ and drinks, giving everyone the chance to relax, refuel and enjoy some well-earned food together.
