Hart Road Runners have been invited to join Hart Rotary in bringing Christmas joy to the children of Fleet — while raising funds for local good causes!
Every December, Hart Rotary takes Santa and his sleigh around the streets of Hart. This year, we’ve been invited to join the crew as collectors as Santa visits the children of Fleet.
✨ The collections have two goals:
- Bring a little Christmas magic to local children
- Raise funds for the Hart Rotary Trust Fund, which donates to local charities (around 50% of their annual funds are raised at Christmas!)
🎁 What’s involved:
- Meet at Blackbushe Airport at 5pm to help prepare the sleigh
- Collect donations (cash or card) while walking 5–8km through local streets
- Invite children to meet Santa and spread festive cheer
- Return to the airport around 7:30pm, usually followed by refreshments!
- Outfits provided – but feel free to wear your favourite festive gear and your HRR top!
Each team includes a Rotary leader, Santa, a driver, and five collectors.
